This is my location scout and risk assessment blog
Reflection: At the end, these were pointless as I drew my magazine cover background instead of using a real picture,

Location Scout
Purpose of the shoot:Get a background shot of the road, for the superhero character thats going to be the main focus of the front cover, and the background is supposed to be a road thats all broken and destructed after a classic hero-vs-villain fight
Media Language: It being a long shot of a road/an urban-like area gives a mis-en-scene that the superhero is fighting in a totally regular and realistic city (mroe elaboration later). Generally the media language it gives is the normal everyday life feel of the setting that the main superhero lives in.
Pros of Location: Gets the basic vibe required for the superhero who lives in a regular place vibe
Cons of Location: It's literally in the middle of the road where there are plenty of vehicles driving, making it hard to take a photo of. Also while it does get the basic vibe, it does not fit the actual vision I have for the backgrond, that is a road with buildings beside it that are a bit destructed and destroyed, which is obviously pretty hard to find real life.
Alternative Locations: Regents Preschool Construction, actual destruction is there, but not really fitting for the vision I have and the preschool could finish construction pretty soon

Risk Assesment
Potential Hazards: Vehicles in the way which could crash/harm someone
Evaluate Risks: Trying to take a picture in the middle of the road, which is already an absurd and risky thing to do, could cause an accident between the phototakers and the vehicle
Control Measures & Timeframe Implementation: Perhaps do the photoshoot inside a vehicle while driving and take a photo in the middle of the road (Done)
